Ana Maria and I are happy to announce that Strigo will be opening again to the public on Sept. 14, 2024.  During the last 6 months, we’ve been planning a different course for the long-term success of the business and our service to the local community.

Strigo Vineyards is, first and foremost, a winery with beautiful grounds and a developing selection of local wines. Over the years, it has been a place for people to gather, relax and try new wines. Our newly transformed Wine Lounge, featuring the ever-popular wine wall, will offer guests a curated selection of snacks and beverages to choose from as well as Strigo merchandise. The Wine Lounge will be open 5 days a week from 12pm to 5pm and, as we grow over the coming months, expect to hear about dinner events, live music, classes and more!

Second, we’ve had the privilege of hosting many guests’ celebrations these last few years, making private events a main staple of our business. We are committed to growing this aspect of our business and we’re very excited to be completing plans and beginning construction on a larger event facility this fall! The new building will allow us to host events year-round for groups up to 120 people! The smaller barn that rested between our farmhouse and tasting room is being replaced with a larger, similar structure that will offer guests a beautiful indoor space with amazing views and access to the surrounding vineyard.

In addition to growing our event offerings and transforming our Wine Lounge, we will also be focusing on developing our local Wine Club to share and distribute our wines. We plan to host four events per year, inviting members to join us for an exclusive tasting experience – enjoy some good food and music and then top your day off by taking home a case of Strigo’s very own wines. Initially, we will have to limit membership to about 200 people so keep watch in September for more information about how you can join! We hope you’ll consider joining our club and be part of our wine-making effort!

There is so much more that we look forward to sharing with you as we move into the fall season and as our business plans move in these new directions. We believe we’re on a better track to care for and sustain our beautiful property and be an asset to the local community here in Lysander. We’re so grateful for your continued patronage and support and we’re looking forward to seeing you all back here at Strigo, enjoying yourselves in our wine lounge!
